Republican Jon Plumer from Lodi representing the 42nd Assembly District joined the GOP Spring Survey and had a question about marijuana for you, the constituents that live within the following area.

https://maps.legis.wisconsin.gov/?asm=42&single=y

Legalization of marijuana for medical and recreational purposes has been proposed. Law enforcement, educators and the medical community oppose legalization. Which best describes your views on marijuana legalization?

I do not support any legalization of marijuana use

I support limited medical legalization only

I support full decriminalization of marijuana for recreational or medical use

and the survey says…………..

The details are in the devils seems to be what these Republicans are saying about medical marijuana reform and I guess the questioning method they use. Obviously they (Republicans) are up to something besides just removing the “M” word from the budget, they maybe mounting a medical marijuana movement of their own.

Obviously the outcome of the poll would have been different with different answer selections to choose, but would the outcome have been different without all the precursor speculative language encouraging people to vote against it?

Since all this open to slicing and dicing, words and numbers… I see 70.5% of people in his district support marijuana reform. I see 70.5% of people in his district support medical marijuana. The general public hears “medical marijuana” and they think that means patients growing and smoking pot. I see 70.5% of his district supporting a limited number of patients growing a limited number of plants to smoke and make into edibles to treat their illness.
