Scheduled Madison: State Representative Paul Tittl (R-Manitowoc) and State Senator Devin LeMahieu (R-Oostburg) will hold two joint listening sessions in the 25th Assembly District on Monday, November 4th.
The sessions will take place at the Manitowoc City Hall, City Council Chambers, 900 Quay Street from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and the Chilton Public Library, 221 Park Street from 1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
The listening sessions provide people an opportunity to voice their opinions and discuss ideas for bills with their legislators.
“I always enjoy meeting with constituents and hearing their viewpoints on issues and legislation,” said Rep. Tittl. “These listening sessions provide a wonderful opportunity to engage in a face-to-face dialogue, and I encourage community members to attend.”
If community members are unable to attend and would like to share their thoughts, they can contact Representative Tittl’s office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 888-529-0025.
Authors Note: Rep Paul Tittl once told me he was one of the only Republicans who called for a public hearing on medical marijuana. I met with his office. If I was a Democrat sponsor of medical marijuana reform or a lobbyist I would reach out to him and his office. Over the years we have a had field activists for Northern Wisconsin NORML also work in his district collecting countless signatures of support. If you are in this area, please attend these sessions and bring a few friends. If you can’t attend please reach out to this Senator and Assembly Rep with your story about why marijuana reform is important to you.
