Green Lake County Republican Party Chairman Alex Dallman made it official on Feb 27, 2020 announcing his candidacy for the 41st State Assembly District seat. Dallman made the announcement during a party caucus Thursday evening.

“I am extremely grateful for all of the support and encouragement from across the 41st Assembly District over the last few days.” said Dallman. “I look forward to building on this momentum and traveling throughout the 41st Assembly District to spread our message and engage with voters. I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful area and community. As your Representative in Madison I will protect the sanctity of life, push for a smaller government, and encourage continued investment into career and technical education and workforce development initiatives.”

Dallman grew up in the district, graduated from Markesan High School and got a bachelor’s degree in political science from Edgewood College. He currently works as an Outreach Representative for Congressman Glenn Grothman.  The 41st State Assembly seat is currently held by Joan Ballweg who has announced she will seek the 14th State Senate seat that Senator Luther Olsen is retiring from.
