Winter Survey: Is your Elected Official Conducting one?
I urge you to follow your elected officials on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and sign up to receive their legislative emails also. Many times the only way I received notifications about listening sessions, town hall meetings and legislator surveys is from their social media stream. Gone are the days of press releases submitted weeks ahead of time, sometimes these notices for virtual meetings come with little advanced notice.
Surveys are a great opportunity for elected officials to gauge the support on various issues and help prioritize their legislative agendas.
A great way to begin a cannabis conversation with your elected official is by finding out if they are conducting any sort of Winter or Spring Survey. If they are, work with them to get a marijuana question included on the survey.
