Patient & Consumer Guide to Navigating Cannabis Safety
Over the years, we have proudly collaborated with Americans for Safe Access (ASA) and Safe Access Wisconsin on numerous initiatives, particularly those focused on advancing medical cannabis awareness and advocacy. ASA has been a vital partner in our efforts, even serving as a featured organization at our inaugural THC Expo in Berlin back in 2010, where they helped set the stage for meaningful discussions on cannabis policy and patient access.
Recently, a significant transition occurred within our Wisconsin network. Frank Buress, the Wisconsin Ambassador for ASA, has officially retired after years of dedicated service. Stepping back into the role temporarily is Jay Selthofner, who will serve in this capacity until a permanent replacement is identified. Frank’s retirement marks a heartfelt loss for our community, as his influence extended far beyond his ambassadorial role. As the Senior Political Advisor for the Wisconsin Cannabis Activist Network, Frank’s contributions to both policy and advocacy have been immeasurable, and his absence will be deeply felt across multiple spheres.
Americans for Safe Access remains committed to its mission of improving the cannabis experience for all individuals, whether they are purchasing from regulated markets, navigating grey or illicit systems, or cultivating their own plants. Their goal is to ensure that cannabis use enhances quality of life and supports overall health and well-being.
