I think the Democrats are all but assured 42 seats in the Assembly; all of those candidates but 2 (two) have expressed support for legalization of adult use cannabis for Wisconsin.
I think the Republicans are all but assured 47 seats in the Assembly; all too many of these candidates have already said NO to cannabis reform.
That leaves 10 seats that are the most competitive and will likely shake up the election and help shape the Assembly for the 2025-26 legislative session.
All 10 Democrats in these competitive races indicated support of legalizing adult use cannabis.
Democrats need to win at least 8 out of these 10 seats to win control of the Assembly.
