Bipartisan Candidates Rally at 4/20 Events to Support Hemp & Cannabis Reform in Wisconsin
Ripon, WI — April 2026 — The Wisconsin Cannabis Activist Network (WiscoCan.org) is proud to announce that its upcoming 4/20 events are drawing unprecedented, bipartisan political engagement from across the state.
Two major events— the 420 Signature Collecting Event and the 420 Parking Lot Pot Luck Party—are set to bring together voters, advocates, and a wide range of candidates seeking office in 2026.
These events reflect the growing importance of hemp and cannabis policy in Wisconsin’s political landscape.

Both events are designed to combine community celebration with civic action—highlighting the dual nature of 4/20 as both a cultural moment and a call for reform.
A Broad Coalition of Candidates
WiscoCan confirms that the events have attracted participation and interest from:
- Wisconsin State Senate candidate
- Wisconsin State Assembly candidate(s)
- Congressional candidates
- A Republican candidate for Governor
This diverse lineup underscores a powerful reality: support for hemp and cannabis reform is no longer confined to one party—it is a statewide, bipartisan issue.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from candidates—both Democrats and Republicans—about:
- Why they support hemp and cannabis reform
- How they plan to protect Wisconsin consumers and businesses
- What actions they are willing to take if elected
From Advocacy to Action: Ballot Access Starts Now
With ballot access officially beginning in mid-April, these events will also serve as signature collection hubs, helping qualifying candidates secure their place on the 2026 ballot.
Collecting signatures is the first—and often most critical—step in electing leaders who understand and support the hemp industry.
“Policy doesn’t change unless we change who gets elected,” said WiscoCan leadership. “These events give voters a chance to meet candidates, ask tough questions, and immediately take action to help put pro-hemp voices on the ballot.”
Community, Culture, and Civic Engagement
The 420 Parking Lot Pot Luck Party will offer a relaxed, community-driven atmosphere—bringing together supporters to celebrate, connect, and engage directly with campaigns.
Meanwhile, the 420 Signature Collecting Event focuses on mobilizing volunteers and voters to actively participate in the democratic process.
Together, these events represent a new model for cannabis advocacy in Wisconsin—where culture meets civic engagement.

WiscoCan invites all Wisconsin residents, business owners, and advocates to attend, participate, and be part of this pivotal moment.
