AD 15: Adam Neylon (R) vs Sarah Harrison (D)
The 15th Assembly District is located in southeastern Wisconsin, the district comprises part of eastern Waukesha County. It contains all of the city of Pewaukee, and the village of Pewaukee, along with most of the city of Brookfield, and part of the city of Waukesha. The district also contains Waukesha County Technical College, Brookfield Square mall, and Capitol Airport.
Adam Neylon (R-Pewaukee)
Adam is also the owner and President of The Neylon Group, a commercial facilities maintenance company based in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Adam founded his first business at age 19. Former legislative staffer for U.S. Representative Jim Sensenbrenner and Republican leadership in the Wisconsin Assembly.
Elected to Assembly in April 2013 special election. Reelected since 2014.
Republican assembly representative from Pewaukee has not co-sponsored any legislation on marijuana reform since elected in 2013.
Back in 2017 an military veteran and activist told me this about Adam Neylon (R): I met with him a few months ago. He admitted to having used marijuana in the past. He was surprisingly supportive, told me I should really believe Robin Voss when he says he’s open to the discussion.
However, since meeting I’ve found neither to be true. He may have smoked pot though, I didn’t check his claim out.
On July 22, 2020, WisconsinEye senior producer Steve Walters interviewed incumbent Rep. Adam Neylon (R-Pewaukee). Neylon spoke about the subject and he says recreational is a step too far for him. He claims revenue does not out weigh public health issues and driving. That cannabis legalization creates large government agencies. I suggest you listen to him for the 90 seconds he spoke about his views on marijuana legalization.

There are 99 state Assembly seats and 16 state Senate seats on the ballot this November. The ACLU of Wisconsin sent a questionnaire to all candidates and published their answers on August 21st.
We are not surprised that she answered YES to the ACLU question: Do you support the legalization, regulation, and taxation of marijuana for recreational use by adults 21 and over in Wisconsin?
She states “Wisconsin is losing over half a billion dollars in taxable income yearly due to its refusal to legalize marijuana. Legalizing marijuana will free up cops for more important things while also providing tax revenue to bolster our Wisconsin municipalities. I support the legalization of marijuana in Wisconsin.”
Local activists and supporters of reform are very excited to see her run for State Assembly again.
Please follow her campaign on facebook page and visit his official website for more details on this candidate.

In the event that we end up with divided government in the 2024-25 legislation session, the official formation of The Wisconsin Cannabis Caucus would be a must first step towards reform. The official establishment of this Caucus will represent the growing, bipartisan support in Wisconsin.
Although session as ended we still urge you to contact your elected officials. The top four action alerts are still functionable on The Wisconsin Cannabis Activist Action Network for you immediate use.
